JL Audio custom-fit speakers bring out the hidden charms of your pedestrian factory speaker locations with high-performance replacements that drop in easily in many vehicles. These speakers boast composite glass-filled polymer frames and advanced motor systems for optimum performance, and each speaker incorporates a fiber-reinforced pulp cone with a custom rubber surround to promote efficiency and smooth high-frequency response. And their low-profile metal grilles allow them to fit into a wide array of locations behind factory trims. The frame and grille work together to protect the speakers from UV damage in exposed dashboard locations.

Use these 2-3/4″ speakers in midtreble, midrange, or mid-tweeter applications

JL Audio CF-275mt 2-3/4″ speakers work well as midtreble speakers, with in-line second order high-pass filters included to enable high power handling. CF-275mt speakers can also be used actively as part of excellent two-way or three-way systems. JL Audio recommends using their TwK™ 88 digital signal processor or a VXi amplifier with built-in digital signal processing in an active build. Either option gives you access to the awesome sound-shaping power of JL Audio’s TüN audio-tuning software, which lets you get really tweaky through your laptop or mobile device.
