This subwoofer extends the bass response of almost any full-range speaker, alleviating it from the arduous task of reproducing low bass frequencies. The outcome? The TS315S features a robust, long-excursion woofer housed in a solidly-braced ported enclosure, optimized by computer for robust low-frequency performance. Crafted from a dense wood composite, the enclosure boasts virtually perfect acoustic properties, ensuring clear and impactful subwoofer output. Unlike conventional enclosures with flex-prone thin metal or plastic walls, which dissipate the driver’s energy as cabinet vibration, the sturdy, braced wood composite enclosure preserves the driver’s motion without cabinet resonance.

The Perfect Match

However, delivering strong, clear output is only part of the equation. For a subwoofer to integrate seamlessly into an ideal speaker system, it must blend perfectly with the companion speaker. This is where the TS315S excels. All TS300-series subwoofers offer six selectable DSP output modes, ensuring the subwoofer’s frequency response and crossover frequency match the speaker it accompanies. Four of these output options perfectly match the TS2 and TS3 full-range speakers, while the other two options (Hi-Pass or Bypass mode) ensure compatibility with non-Alto full-range speakers.

Our computer design techniques employ advancements like Finite Element Analysis (FEA), optimizing the speaker’s magnetic structure and maintaining a tight voice coil gap for maximum sensitivity. The extremely tight windings of our voice coils ensure maximum signal utilization, while our adhesives offer unparalleled consistency and durability under high-temperature conditions, ensuring unmatched system reliability. The TS315S boasts an onboard 2000-watt amplifier (1000 watts continuous) with proprietary limiting circuitry, providing electronic clip, thermal, and transducer overload protection, ensuring clean and clear sound under any circumstances.
